Since 1989
From the Imambaras to Your Living Room
Awadh Carpet began with one loom and one conviction: that a carpet made entirely by hand is worth the months it takes. Three decades later, that has not changed. Our weavers are the sons and daughters of our first weavers, working the same knots on the same kind of loom.
What has changed is who we make for. The medallions and vines that once covered court floors now sit under low sofas and glass tables — and they belong there just as well.
